Classic Micro Systems is a Value Added Reseller and Managed Services provider focusing on the small and medium business market primarily in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, and surrounding communities of the Southern California area. We've been in business since 1986 when we were founded by Dave McCann after he developed and began selling a custom database application to the Court Reporting community in 1985. Prior to that, Dave was a self-taught programmer conversant in Basic, Turbo Pascal and R:base producing scoring software for Radio Controlled Airplane Pattern contests (PASS), Accountant GL (MicroLedger), and The Main Menu and RemindMe utilities while attending high school and college. After having developed The Agency Manager and graduating from college, Dave spent several years working for two local computer training companies where he instructed students on general computer use, applications, and database programming. While concurently selling our Court Reporting software, The Agency Manager, Dave expanded into hardware and then networks to provide complete turnkey systems to our clients. Since then our services have expanded and today we provide a broad array of services as it relates to the sale, installation, service and support of Windows-based computers and related equipment. Although we offer highly competitive prices, please do not use our services if you're simply looking for the "best price" as we do not subscribe to the warehouse store philosophy. We are not in business to "move boxes" but rather, our sales model is one of value-added service so that you can expect to get better researched products and better delivery of service for which we are compensated moderately.
In addition to providing the typcal array of products, we are also highly focused on providing after-sale services and since late 2007 have been a Managed Service Provider offering complete fixed-rate health maintenance plans called Virtual IT. These are provided at various service levels to meet the budget requirements of just about any size business.
One of the primary areas of value-added service that we provide is personal service. Our goal is to establish a long-term relationship and assist each and every client achieve their computing goals by providing solutions to their individual needs. We accomplish this by maintaining direct and personal contact with our client base and continually reviewing new products and keeping up on new technology so we can apply it in those situations where is may be useful. At the same time, we strive to provide the most cost-effective solutions because we know that your dollars must be put to good use in this climate of constant technological change.
